Guthrie Clinic cuts patient falls with injuries by 70% using AI on Dell infrastructure
The Guthrie Clinic, serving rural communities across 11,000 square miles of New York and Pennsylvania, built an IT foundation on the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, including Dell PowerEdge servers and Dell AI PCs. Using the Artisight AI platform running on Dell PowerEdge servers with NVIDIA GPUs to monitor patient movement and deliver fall-risk assessments, Guthrie reduced patient falls with injuries by nearly 70%, cut ICU stays by half a day, shortened emergency room time by more than 80 minutes, and achieved $7 million in operational cost savings in 2023.
