Virtual Human Meets Virtual Studio: AI Powers Text-To-Video for Broadcast

Hour One built the self-service platform Reals, which lets broadcasters automatically turn text into fully-produced videos with lifelike virtual presenters and virtual sets, accelerated by NVIDIA GPUs, CUDA and cuDNN. Customers include Berlitz, NBC Universal and DreamWorks. GPU acceleration enables dose calculations up to 20x faster and full plan optimization in minutes. Iridium Network, Belgium's largest radiotherapy provider, reduced time spent on image segmentation and treatment planning by 44% and 47% respectively after implementing AI-driven automation. In 2024, over 200,000 patients benefited from automated image segmentation using this technology.
