Overview

German IT service provider COMLINE SE is expanding its cloud offering with HPE Private Cloud AI, co-developed by HPE and NVIDIA, deployed within its existing GreenLake environment operated from data centers in Berlin and Frankfurt/Main. COMLINE's first generative AI project will use HPE Private Cloud AI to classify 1.6 million legal documents per day for compliance checks for a real-estate business customer, while ensuring data sovereignty from German cloud data centers. COMLINE will also use the solution to further automate its own IT operations.

The challenge

COMLINE recognized high demand in its AI consulting engagements for a generative AI as-a-service offering that helps customers move from proof of concept to production at scale, while ensuring data sovereignty, and wanted to further automate its own service delivery.

The solution

COMLINE is expanding its cloud offering by adding HPE Private Cloud AI, co-developed by HPE and NVIDIA as part of the NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE portfolio, to its existing GreenLake environment operated in its data centers in Berlin and Frankfurt/Main. The solution integrates preconfigured AI hardware and software from HPE and NVIDIA, including HPE AI Essentials and NVIDIA AI Enterprise with NVIDIA NIM and NeMo microservices, focused on inferencing, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and fine-tuning. COMLINE will initially deploy two HPE Private Cloud AI systems with "small bundle" configurations, and will kick off its first generative AI project for a real-estate business customer, using the platform to classify 1.6 million legal documents per day for compliance checks.

Reported business value

COMLINE selected HPE Private Cloud AI because it is a turnkey solution that doesn't require the custom integration competitive offerings need; going forward it expects to set up new generative AI use cases with just a few clicks, accelerating time to market for customers and reducing its own service delivery costs.

Supermetrics: Helping Marketers Redefine Efficiency with AI-Powered Data Analysis

Supermetrics, a Finland-based marketing intelligence platform serving 15,000+ customers across 132 countries, built an AI agent on Google Cloud using Vertex AI Agent Builder and the Agent Development Kit (ADK) that autonomously manages data connections, fixes pipeline errors, and analyzes campaign performance in real time, suggesting new creative options using Imagen. The agent automates the weekly marketing reporting cycle that previously took performance marketers up to four hours, reclaiming over 15 hours per month per marketer for strategy and creative testing. The system uses a central AI agent that interprets natural language requests and delegates tasks to sub-agents, and stores 'core memories' of user preferences for personalized context.
